Upload
Your Web Site
Once
your Web Server and Database have been setup it's time to publish/upload
your web pages.
There
are two options for using EcommPro Shopping Cart.

With
Our Home Page
-
You
do not yet have a home page built in your web and want to use
the one provided.
-
Copy
all of the files inside the wwwroot including the sub folder
scart and all of it's contents to your web site folder. This
will give you a complete web site.

With
Your Home Page
Now
to upload the web site.... There
are a couple of options for uploading EcommPro.
-
You're
using MS FrontPage to build an existing web site.
-
You
have FrontPage but have not yet created a web site.
-
You're
using some other web page editor.
-
You
don't have a web page editor.
You
already have a site going and have a FrontPage web established on your hard
drive (on your computer).

Go
to C:\EcommPro\EcommProV6\wwwroot
-
Copy
the scart folder only for just the shopping cart or copy all files and
subfolder to use the entire web site including the home page.

Paste
them into your existing FrontPage web. Be aware that this will overwrite
any files you may have with the same name.

Put
links on your pages to http://www.yourdomain.com/scart/shop.asp
-
Publish
your web site as explained in the FrontPage help files.

Go
to C:\EcommPro\EcommProV6\wwwroot

Copy

them into your existing web site folder. Be aware that this will overwrite

Put
links on your pages to http://www.yourdomain.com/scart/shop.asp

Publish/Upload
your web site as explained in the web page editor's help files.
When
your web site is finished uploading:
-
Login to your new
Database Control Panel.

Click
the Company Info button in Control Panel to proceed to the next setup
step.

In
the Banner/Logo input box, enter the file name of the file you copied to
the www.yourdomain.com/scart/images/ folder in step 5. e.g. banner.jpg.
*Note
- If your web server does not allow you to create folder out side of the
web root then follow the instructions here
for putting the database and other necessary files in your cart and
uploading to the web root.
