Edit the Disclaimer Page

Overview:

DO NOT RENAME OR REMOVE ANY PAGE THAT CAME WITH YOUR SHOPPING CART

Your Disclaimer page should be edited. However, YOU DON'T HAVE TOO.

Edit Your Disclaimer Page:

• Open your web page editor and open your web. (hopefully this is MS FrontPage)

• Open scart\disclaimer.asp

• You will have a completely blank page.

• Your legal information such as your "disclaimer" or "terms of sale" goes here.

• Everyone will have a different disclaimer.

• Also put return policies, if any, here.

• Look at others and make your own or talk to a local LAWYER in your State.

• Your customers MUST AGREE with your disclaimer before they can make a purchase.

• The fact that they SAID they read it is kept on record in your database.

  e.g. they MUST check the "check box" at check out time. :)

• The disclaimer page would basically disclaim you (release you) from any liability that may result from the purchase or use of your products.

• Enter your legal info, click save and publish your web.
