Overview:
When a customer creates an
account they must enter their email address, this is used for login. Now that
you have everyone's email address you might as well use them for advertising
and to keep your customers up-to-date on sales and new products. Login to
Control Panel, go to Send Mail, enter a Subject, enter Body Text and click
"Send To List". Everyone on the list, that is Active, receives a copy of the email.
Email Your Customers:

Login
to your Database Control Panel - http://www.yourdomain.com/scart/admin/login.asp.

Click
the View Email List button.

You
will see the following information:

Click
the Send to List link. (bottom center,
you can also reach the Send to List page from
Control Panel)

Enter
a Subject and a Message then click the Send To Email List button.
(all
customer marked Active = Yes receive a copy of the email)
Hint
- Create yourself a customer account using your email address. By
doing this you will receive a copy of the emails sent to the email mailing
list. In this way you can save a copy of the emails that you send to the
list. This is NOT required however.
