Customer Accounts

Overview:

Your database holds all of your customer accounts and orders placed. You can find any of these by Searching the database from the Search Database search engine that comes with Ecomm Pro.

Search the Database:

1. Login to your Database Control Panel - http://www,yourdomain.com/scart/cartcp/login.asp.

2. Click the Search Orders Or Customers button.

3. You will see a list of your customers, 25 Per page, in alphabetical order by last name.

4. On the left notice the following 5 input boxes:

   1. First Name

      • Search by customer FIRST NAME.

      • A partial name will work.

      • e.g. Searching for Al would return Al, Albert, and Alberta assuming they exist in the database.

   2. Last Name

      • Search by customer LAST NAME.

      • A partial name will work. (see first name above)

   3. Email Address

      • Search by customer Email Address.

      • AN EXACT ADDRESS IS REQUIRED.

   4. Customer #

      • Search by customer number.

      • THE EXACT CUSTOMER ACCOUNT NUMBER IS REQUIRED.

   5. Order Number

      • Search by order number.

      • THE EXACT ORDER NUMBER IS REQUIRED.

5. Notice the page number over top of the Back Button (bottom right)

   • When you get your 26th customer you will have 2 pages.

   • When you get your 51st customer you will have 3 pages. (and so on)

   • Click the page Number to go to that page. (it's all the same page only the customers change e.g. Next 25

6. Notice the View All Customers link.

   • If you have used the Search Feature on the Left and you want to clear the search results and return to View ALL Customers, click this link. DO NOT RELOAD the page as this will only give you your last search results.

7. Notice the Email column. It is a mailto hyperlink. If you need to email a customer, you can click the link.

8. Notice the Details column. Click the Details of any customer.

   • You will see the customer's account details.

   • From here you can Edit OR Delete a Customer Account.

   • You will also see a list of Orders that this customer has placed. (15 per page. Click the page numbers, above the orders, to display the NEXT 15 orders for that customer)

   • Clicking an order number will display that particular order.

9. Clicking Find In Database always takes you back to the Search Database main page.

10. You can also create a customer account from here. Click Create Customer Account
